Monroe High School

The pride of the West 7th neighborhood, Monroeoriginally began as a junior high school in 1926 before becoming a senior high school in 1940. It operated as a high school until approximately 1977, when it transitioned into Monroe Community School for grades K-8. The school was recently renamed Global Arts Plus.
