U.S.S Gertrude - Bald Eagle

Our tribute to the pontoon invention on Bald Eagle. It was 1952 when W.C. Tuchfarber built and launched the U.S.S. Gertrude on Bald Eagle Lake. The original party pontoon or "Cruz Raft" was later sold as a DIY kit nationwide. Learn more about the U.S.S. Gertrude here
